   **U09.9 – Post COVID-19 condition, unspecified**  
The code was added to the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10) as an ‘additional’ code to track the consequences of COVID-19. It is used in cases where a patient experiences long-term or persistent symptoms after a SARS-CoV-2 infection but does not specify the exact type of post-COVID syndrome.
